James L. Krug, Ph.D. is the founder and president of Advanced Performance Group Inc. Jim’s expertise in leadership and organizational development, human resource management, and strategy formation is based on extensive practical experience and research. He was the co-founder and President of two successful start-up companies and has held senior management positions at a Fortune 100 international engineering company.
Jim has been the keynote speaker at a number of CEO Summits and Leadership retreats worldwide. Clients have included Ernst & Young, Goldman Saks, Microsoft, Turner, Johnson & Johnson, Merrick, Georgia State Finance and Investment Commission, and the Army Corp. of Engineers. He also serves as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Business, University of Colorado, Boulder campus, where he was an academic researcher on the best selling book Good to Great by Jim Collins. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Human Resource Management Journal. Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. Jim resides in Boulder, Colorado.
