Dr. William H. Morley is President of the executive consulting firm ExCL Group. He and his associates have backgrounds in business and operations management specializing in: executive assessment, executive leadership and team development, executive coaching, executive meeting facilitation, management succession planning, and career and talent management.
Bill has worked with a variety of clients including
Duke Energy Corporation, Prudential Financial Group, Ryland Homes, Four Seasons
Hotels & Resorts, Lord Corporation, Brown Brothers Harriman, Xerox
Corporation, Methanex Corporation, Mandarin Hotels, Cisco Systems and the
United States Army, Navy, and Air Force. Bill continues to
serve as an Adjunct Faculty member and Feedback Coach for The Center for Creative
Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Prior to forming his consulting firm, he was Program Manager of CCL's LeaderLab
Program, and
trained in several "open enrollment" programs: Leadership Development
Program, Looking Glass, Inc., and Leading Transitions. While at CCL, Bill was instrumental in selling,
designing and delivering many customized programs for Center clients such as:
IBM, Motorola, PPG, Host Marriott, Ryland Homes, Novartis, Pfizer, TAP Holdings,
Trane, and MTV Networks. His most recent design is an "executive coaching"
program used by the Center for training feedback specialists and internal
corporate coaches for client companies. Bill co-authored a book entitled: "Executive Coaching: An Annotated
Bibliography"
published by The Center for Creative Leadership.
Bill brings a diverse background to his consulting practice.
His career included several key managerial positions: Vice President and
Consultant with Right Management Consulting in Chicago; Director Corporate
Re-Engineering, Human Resources for Comdisco, Inc., Director of Human Resources
for All-State Industrial Rubber Company in Des Moines, and has over twelve
years executive experience in non-profit organizations. He has completed his certification as a
Corporate Business Coach and earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
certification. He belongs to the International Coaching Federation, Association
of Career Professionals International, Society of Human Resource Management,
Human Resources Planning Society, and is a Lominger International Associate, a
Korn/Ferry Company.
Bill
earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of
Kansas. An ordained Episcopal priest, he earned masters level degrees in
theology and business administration, and holds a doctoral degree in pastoral
counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Bill resides in North
Carolina.
