We believe our experiences in a variety of firms and industries is a competitive advantage as we can better customize our work where necessary, while also bringing perspectives from outside our clients’ worldview.

Impact Leadership Development partners with a host of specialized firms and individuals to expand the reach of its programs and consulting services. We have a rich and diverse network of trainers and executive coaches whom we’ve personally vetted to insure consistency and quality delivery of our services.   Our associates are located both globally and within the United States, which provides flexibility for staffing and travel to any location.  Our offices are based in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA.

Our History

Impact Leadership Development was founded as a sole-proprietorship in 1993 as Impact Training & Development, LLC (Impact) by Brian F. Hall, Ph.D., expanding to a fully staffed consultancy firm in 1998. Dr. Hall was inspired to create the firm based upon his years as a leadership educator while serving as an officer at the United States Air Force Academy and as an adjunct faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership. Brian’s philosophy was to engage participants in active learning that is realistic and directly applicable. This approach rapidly gained acceptance and recognition resulting in unprecedented growth in terms of both clients and requests for services. Dr. Hall passed away far too early in a tragic personal plane crash in August, 2012.

Paul Jones, now Principal, joined the firm in 2005 after working closely with Dr. Hall at the Center for Creative Leadership. Paul brings a tremendous background in business and education to Impact which grounds our content in measurable and dynamic business results. In 2013, Paul Jones assumed leadership of the organization and the name was changed to Impact Leadership Development Group Inc.

Paul is the Principal for the Impact Leadership Development Group where he manages all aspects of the consultancy.  Paul’s work history includes 20 years as a successful trainer, coach and management consultant.  He also spent many years in teaching and management positions in both public and private higher education.  His specialty is driving business results through the integration of people and business strategies at all levels: organizational, team, individual.  Paul has a proven track record of success with public, private, government and not for profit organizations.  He has consulted with organizations in the design and development of programs and services to assist with bench strength, critical individual career transitions, organizational development, and the development of high performance teams. His roles have included both internal and external consultancies and he has worked intensely with intact teams, as well as trained with large audiences of over 100.

Paul’s professional experience includes leadership positions at the Center for Creative Leadership where he was a senior faculty member, and later managed the custom program offerings from the Colorado Springs branch.  In private consultation he has worked with a variety of clients in the areas of building effective teams, group dynamics, organizational culture, and leadership.  His clients have included; PepsiCo, CH2M Hill, Abbott Vascular, Xerox, Mars, The Federal Bureau of Reclamation, The IRS, The Kohler Company, Boston Scientific Corporation, Verizon, Prudential, Cushman and Wakefield and many others.

Paul earned a Master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University where he concentrated in Educational Psychology and Adult Learning; his Bachelor’s degree at Millersville University in Psychology. He enjoys time with his family, and is very active in the outdoors, particularly fly-fishing where he does volunteer work for Project Healing Waters.
